Liberia's First Lady, Clar Marie-Weah.

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Office of the First Lady has dismissed as untrue, an online publication alleging that Madam Clar Marie-Weah has been tested positive of the Coronavirus disease.

But, a release from the Office of the First Lady says, contrary to the online publication, Madam Weah has not visited Jamaica for the past four years as claimed by the network, known simply by its acronym CBN.

The release also quotes the Office of the First Lady as describing the Publication as fabricated and an attempt to undermine every effort to halt the strengthening of fear and panic during this critical time.

The First Lady’s Office also clarified that the First Lady is well and doing fine in New York, the United States.

Meanwhile, the Office of the First Lady is warning both national and international media to depoliticize health crisis and report factual information on the crisis.
