Monrovia, Liberia – Former Liberian Ambassador to Quatar, John Ballout is calling on the government of Liberia to establish a fund where Liberians can contribute regardless of where they are.
He noted that unlike Ebola, the situation with the corona virus is affecting most of Liberia’s donor partners, who are also struggling for support.
According to the former Maryland senator, this fund will go a long way in providing the needed support to the government in fighting the corona pandemic.
Meanwhile Mr. John Ballout says he will be contesting the midterm senatorial elections in Maryland County.
He noted that it’s time that men like him, with experience and knowledge return to the legislature to make a difference.
He made the disclosure in an ELBC interview.
