Monrovia, Liberia – Public Works Minister, Mobutu Nyenpan, is cautioning people engaged in illegal construction in Monrovia and its environs to desist.
Minister Nyenpan warning is directed at residents in various communities in and around Monrovia who are building in waterways, alleyways and over drainages.
Speaking to ELBC Thursday, he said the Ministry has embarked on cleaning up of major drainages across the country, adding that such illegal constructions will impede its operations.
Minister Nyenpan however told ELBC that Zoning Team at the Ministry will shortly begin the inspection of illegal constructions in Monrovia and its environs.
