MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia Council of Churches has established new measures as worshippers are expected to return to their respective churches this Sunday, May 17, 2020.

The LCC established the new measures in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control (CDC)-Liberia.

According to the General Secretary of the Council, Rev. Chris Toe, the mandate is optional to church leaders with the capacity to carry out services and observe all COVID-19 preventive measures.

Speaking in an ELBC interview Thursday, May 14, 2020, Rev. Toe emphasized the restriction of various congregations to a sizeable number of persons or the conduct of alternate services to avoid congestion.
