MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Liberia National Police has arrested and charged Johnson Chulutah with raping his then 13-year old step daughter.
Making the disclosure to ELBC Monday, Police Spokesman, Moses Carter, said Mr. Chulutah was arrested late Sunday evening in the Mount Barclay Community, Montserrado County.
Mr. Carter said the rape incident reportedly took place in 2018.
The video went viral on social media after a man in the County had filmed the kid live via Facebook explaining her ordeal.
He further disclosed that the girl’s mother was also arrested by the police for failing to report the matter.
Police Spokesman Carter also noted that the rape victim is being cater to by the Gender Ministry as the investigation continues.
