Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Kateh

Monrovia – Liberia – Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Kateh, has attributed the huge number of Corona virus cases in Liberia to the refusal of most people to follow the basic health protocols.

Speaking in an ELBC Interview Tuesday, Dr. Kateh said many people are not wearing masks, saying that they are also not practicing social distancing.

Dr. Kateh said to defeat the Corona virus in Liberia; Liberians need to adhere to the preventive measures put in place by Health Authorities.

The Chief Medical Officer also emphasized the importance of voluntary testing.

Liberia has recorded the highest number of daily infection of forty new corona virus cases.
