University of Liberia President, Rev. Dr. Juliuys Nelson

MONROVIA, LIBERIA -The President of the University of Liberia, Dr. Julius Nelson, says students will have no extra cost during the Special E-Learning Semester.

The University of Liberia (UL) Administration recently announced that it will commence a semester online, known as E-Learning Semester.

Dr. Nelson said UL students will only be required to pay their registration fees, as the Liberian Government has already assumed the responsibility of paying all the students’ tuitions.

He made the statement Monday in an ELBC interview in Liberia’s largest commercial city of Paynesville.

Meanwhile, the UL President has disclosed that the state-run University and Orange-Liberia are holding discussions on the possibility for the Company to reduce data packages to ease the learning condition at the school.

Dr. Nelson emphasized that classes for students required to do Lab will be arranged in a way to ensure straight observance of the social distancing measures.
