MONROVIA, Liberia-Health Minister, Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah, says Liberia has not reached its peak in terms of coronavirus infections.
Minister Jallah said the country must reach certain level of infection before it experiences decline in infection rate.
Minister Jallah wants Liberians observe the preventive measures with more seriousness in the fight against the virus.
The Health Minister is urging the citizens and residents to wear masks, practice social distancing and wash their hands regularly.
She is at the same time cautioning young people to take the virus seriously.
Minister Jallah said young people are super spreaders of corona virus because they can contract and spread it with others before showing signs and symptoms themselves.
She made the disclosure in an ELBC interview Thursday, July 9, 2020.
