MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Activities leading to the crafting of a comprehensive road map to combat corruption in Liberia are continuing in the Country among several stakeholders.

As part of the activities, the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LAAC) over the weekend concluded three regions Regional Consultative Meeting in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

At the end of the Regional Consultative Meeting, LACC Vice Chairman, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala, told participants that the consultations are intended to rally citizens’ ideas on a new approach to tackle corruption.

According to Cllr.  Gbala, the ideas gathered from participants during the program would be expanded upon at a pending sectoral   meeting.

The LACC Vice Chairman explained that following the sectoral meeting, a two-day national anti-corruption conference will be held to develop a road map, to be presented to the Executive for action.
