MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Over eighty-five-thousand National Identification Cards will be expired on October 31, 2020.
The Head of the National Identification Registry, Tiah Nagbe, said:” The entire National ID Cards will remain valid to the end of February, 2021.”
Speaking in an ELBC interview Thursday, October 15, 2020, Mr. Nagbe urged Liberians whose ID Cards will be expiring in October to begin the renewal process.
He said:” The price at renewal will be at three United States Dollars, and that the new ID Cards will be valid for five years.”
The NIR Boss also disclosed that an employee of the entity is under police investigation for organizing an unauthorized enrollment process in Gardnerville.
