MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The WASH Commission is expected to begin the audit of water quality lab testing in Liberia in early January, 2020.
The Head of the Commission, Bobby Whitfield, said the auditing process will inform the entity on the quality of water provided to Liberians through water producing companies.
Speaking with this station Monday, Mr. Whitfield said beginning next year, the commission will be reactivating its Sanitary Standard Certificate Regime.
According to Mr. Whitfield, the certificate will validate the sanitary condition of business centers to ensure that they clean and safe for the public.
Meanwhile, the WASH Boss said the Commission will next year also launch its digital watch stamp.
He disclosed that the stamp will be placed on locally made and imported water to certify that it’s safe for drinking.
