Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission submits corruption investigation reports to Justice Ministry

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) says it has submitted all reports of its recent corruption investigations to the Justice Ministry.

An LACC statement said the reports include hundreds of exhibits, containing evidences that are sufficient for indictment and subsequent prosecution.

They include reports on the Ministry of Agriculture, Liberia Institute of Statistics and GEO-Information Services (LISGIS), Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) and Planned Parenthood Association of Liberia.

According to the Commission, the submission of reports is exactly in line with existing provision of the 2008 Act which established it.

LACC Executive Chairperson Edwin Kla Martin recently told a news conference that officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, LISGIS, the LWSC and Planned Parenthood Association of Liberia violated the laws in the discharge of their duties.
